Kitty wore a long veil embroidered with white flowers for her special day, but unlike Kate and Flora, she did not hold it in place with a tiara.
Flora’s tiara used to belong to her grandmother, Princess Alexandra of Kent, and featured a series of pearl and diamond hair ornaments that the Queen’s cousin wore before her marriage to Angus Ogilvy in 1963.
The ornaments were integrated into the design of a silver tiara, which also includes diamonds ribbons trailing around and between the diamond flowers.
Alexandra has worn the tiara on multiple occasions throughout her life, and Flora’s choice to wear it for her wedding gave a sweet nod to her grandmother and their relationship.
Flora complemented the tiara with a pair of pearl and diamond teardrop-shaped earrings, displayed clearly as the royal’s dark blonde hair was pulled back in a half-up, half-down style.
For her wedding in 2011, Kate matched her stunning gown with the Queen’s Cartier Halo tiara.
Made up of 739-brilliant cut diamonds and 149 diamonds, the valuable piece was lent to the Duchess of Cambridge by Her Majesty.
